The reason I chose to draw Winnie Harlow is that she's a model with a skin deficiency, which is outside of what people see as the norm for what models are supposed to look like. They are supposed to be skinny, tall and have flawless skin although Winne Harlow is tall and skinny she may not have flawless skin in some peoples opinion but she proved them wrong, she is a true example of societal contradiction. She challenges the image society has put in our minds as normal she pushes the boundaries she more or less creates her own normality by not seeing her skin condition as a curse or a defect, but as a blessing and an opportunity to show people that it doesn't matter if your not identical to the next person but that it only matters about what is inside and what you believe in.
