I1) What considerations led you to modify/change your original plan when you were in the process of developing your project?
2) What evidence can be found in your portfolio (Instagram and website) of how the exploration and revision stages changed your original idea?
3) What emotions do you associate with the colours you picked for your design? How might other peoples associations of colour change the way they feel when looking at your work?
4) What criteria would you use when selecting an art work to present to your class? Would you use different criteria when selecting a work for a community art show? Why? What, if anything, would you do differently when creating your art work if you knew it was going to be displayed in a public space? Why?
5) What are some techniques you used to create the effect of light in a painting?

1. initially I had wanted to lay in grass and paint my face orange but instead of purple I decided not to do this anylonger because I felt that orange was not a bright enough colour and when I painted it onto my skin it peeled away leaving blotches and I decided to paint my background like grass because I was not allowed to lay in real grass .

2. on my Instagram I have an progress shot of my face where I worked with orange as my base instead of the purple colour I used in the final shot.

3.I chose bright , warm and petal like tones because I wanted the portrait to depict happiness when viewed .

4. the main criteria I would take into consideration are :what angle the photo had been taken , if the flash supported the highlights and more but if it where a community art show I would take into consideration where the model or I would e seated and try to match the high lights with the position of the sun by making them sit on an angle which benefits the highlights.

5. I used an actual light source
